Future First alumni project

Past students share their world of work

Former students of The Radclyffe School, both recent leavers and others who left many years ago, returned to the school to share their experience with current students.

Whether it was their knowledge of college or of the world of work, the event was a very helpful experience for our Year 10 students. It was also an eye opener for some of the alumni who had left the school before the new building was constructed.

Among the careers that the former students have followed have been marketing, nursing, commercial accountancy and the law. Current university and college students also took part, whose studies ranged from medicine and forensic psychology to drama and bakery.

The former students spoke about the pathways they have taken to get where they are, as well as what a typical day in their job is like.

If you are a former student and would like to stay in touch and give back to their old school, please sign up at: https://networks.futurefirst.org.uk/student/radclyffe
