Welcome to the homepage for the Achievement & Access team.

The Achievement and Access Team is responsible for ensuring that your child is able to achieve their own personal excellence from The Radclyffe School, so giving the young person leaving school the best possible advantage.

This ensures that students settle in well, that they are committed to their own education and that they face their responsibilities with confidence.

We are committed to making your child feel safe and secure. We want to help your child come to school to achieve and we will endeavour to develop a partnership in order for your child to get the best out of The Radclyffe School.

Our Aims

• Monitor and support students in their personal, social and academic development across the curriculum, ensuring access for all
• Provide the student with the opportunity to express their own point of view about learning and school experiences
• Encourage active collaboration between students, teachers and parents
• Create an ethos of support and cooperation amongst all adults working in the school
• Provide a caring and supportive environment for students and teachers
• Use a variety of resources to enable students to maximise their opportunities and to take appropriate next steps in their learning and development
• Monitor the schools Behaviour for Learning Policy
• Support, celebrate and reward student achievement
• Enable the PLG to provide support for each student
• Enable parents to be active partners in supporting the student’s learning.
