The Radclyffe School Vocal Group will join the Halle Junior Choir, Opera Galleria and the Eccles Brass Band to perform at the North West Air Ambulance Carol Service at Manchester Cathedral this week.

The candlelit charity event takes place on Friday evening from 6.30pm, and will feature carols and festive readings.

Head of Music Mr Mark Lee said, “We are very proud to have been invited to perform at the Cathedral. The school has a growing relationship raising funds for the Air Ambulance, and this is a wonderful event for our students to be involved with.”

Tickets are available from the Cathedral costing £10, £5 concessions and £20 for a family ticket, raising vital funds to keep the Air Ambulances flying paramedics and doctors across the region.

The event follows well-received performances at the switching on of the Christmas lights in Chadderton and at Firwood Park.
