School hosts Christmas Concert

Christmas entertainment enjoyed by all

Carols, cakes and Christmas wishes were served up at The Radclyffe School as students and staff welcomed more than 40 local residents to enjoy the annual Christmas Concert.

The school’s Vocal Groups entertained our visitors with Christmas songs including Hark, the Herald Angels Sing, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.

There were also instrumental performances of festive favourites. The guests had a very enjoyable time, and joined in with the singing, including The 12 Days of Christmas, and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

Year 11 student Jessica Thompson sang a solo of White Christmas, and Year 8 student Nicole Chrisham led the opening verse of Once in Royal David’s City.

Mrs Barker, General Operations Manager said, “We really enjoy organising the concert each year together with Age UK. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students and residents to get to know each other and have an enjoyable time.”
