Writer inspires students to future success
Author Mark Wright was the guest speaker at The Radclyffe School’s Presentation Evening held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Oldham.
The author of successful novels and short stories including Project:Valhalla and several Dr Who stories and audio books, Mark is also our author-in-residence at school. This involves him in workshops with students to inspire creative writing and storytelling.
At the Presentation Evening Mark Wright presented our students who took their GCSE examinations in the summer. The event is an opportunity for staff, students and parents to celebrate the achievements of the year group.
Current students from each year group received awards recognising their outstanding progress as well as their contribution to school life in Music, Drama, PE and Art. Sporting success was rewarded with the awarding of School Colours. The Mayor of Oldham Cllr.
