Our Facilities

Our brand new 'state of the art' school, opened by Sir Alex Ferguson in February 2008, boasts some of the best facilities for learning and sport of any school in the country.

In the classroom

Dedicated ICT suite

Each classroom is equipped with an interactive whiteboard and a digital projector with access to the internet. Each subject area has its own suite of specialist classrooms with fast broadband and our own intranet and VTLE. These provide access to digital resources for both staff and students.

Design and Technology facilities

The school Library contains the latest paper and digital resources and is available for students to use after school. In addition there are around 30 dedicated ICT rooms throughout the school equipped with around 800 computers for student use for teaching English, Mathematics and all national curriculum subjects.

Sports

Astroturf pitch Indoor running track

Our new school contains unrivalled and extensive sports facilities. The Physical Education facilities include 2 sports halls with football and basketball nets, a Dance studio, Indoor Athletics with a 60 metre 6 lane sprint track as well as cricket nets and throwing and jumping areas, a floodlit 3G Astroturf pitch, tennis courts, SHOKK gym, Outdoor Athletics track, as well as football, rugby and cricket pitches.

The Physical Education Department also has two sport classrooms which are used to deliver BTEC courses offered by the department. The facilities have recently been recognised as ‘World Class’ and are included as one of the London 2012 training camp venue’s.

All classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and digital projectors for the teaching of BTEC subjects.

Café Mojo

Café Mojo buffet

A modern dining room, called Café Mojo, offers delicious hot and cold food before school, at break and lunchtimes. The Radclyffe School has achieved the 'Healthy Schools standard' and healthy and nutritious food and drink is available across the school day.

Student choosing lunch

Café Mojo operates a cashless biometric system. Each student has their own Café Mojo account. This system recognises each individual and records how much money is received and spent. It will also record what food and drink is purchased and at what time of day.
