The Radclyffe Outreach Centre

The Radclyffe Outreach Centre (ROC) is a support centre for students who face barriers within the school environment.

Students are referred to the centre if they have serious problems in certain areas of their lives and it is preventing them from engaging with their education. The ROC provides these students with an alternative learning environment and staff support that allows them to still be involved with education whilst dealing with their other problems.

The ROC is open in afternoons for the local community: Adult Literacy classes; Job Club; Junior Youth Club (8 – 11 years); and over 40s armchair based exercise classes. On Sunday mornings the ROC is also used by the Crossley Community Church.
